The VISCOFLUX mobile S drum emptying system is ideally suited for filling high-viscosity, pasty media such as salves or creams that are not capable of flowing on their own. The system comprising a follower plate and the F 560 S eccentric worm-drive pump fills the often quite viscous mass into the supply container of the tube-filling machine; the residual amount in the drum is less than 1%.
Quantity presetting for very flexible operation is optionally possible. The filling speed can also be determined by rotational speed control. If a drum is not completely emptied, no fluid can escape because the rest remains securely closed by the follower plate. In the meantime, the process device can be removed. With the integrated maintenance-free battery, the system can also be moved up and down without a power outlet – an advantage if there is no power outlet within reach, as is usual in cleaning sites.
Filling various greases from softbacks
Various greases of classes 1 to 3 with a temperature of up to 60°C require pumping from so-called softbacks and supply containers into a filling system.

Our eccentric worm-drive pump F 560 TR FOOD, in the so-called dry well installation, is particularly suitable for pumping low to medium viscosity media from containers that are not accessible from the top, e.g. from softbacks. This means that the eccentric worm-drive pump does not need to be immersed in the medium.
The F 560 TR FOOD is mounted on a mobile pump trolley or console and is connected to the bottom outflow on the softback. When started up, the eccentric worm-drive pump sucks in the medium – grease here – and pumps it directly into the filling system via a hose.
Once the desired volume is reached, the end of the hose is sealed, e.g. with a ball valve. The rising pressure is monitored with a pressure switch and the eccentric worm-drive pump is switched off if necessary. It is also possible to preset the desired volume using our FMO flow meter and automate the filling process with the push of a button.
Decanting of gelatine
Gelatine with a viscosity of approx. 1400 mPas requires decanting from various stainless steel containers into storage tanks.

Our F 560 S eccentric worm-drive pump is the perfect solution for more viscose fluids such as gelatine. In this case, it also has the appropriate certificate for hygiene applications.
The F 560 S eccentric worm-drive pump is portable and can be placed in the relevant container quickly and easily. The practical design makes reliable pumping without air bubbles possible. Thanks to extremely low shear forces, the gelatine's texture is also optimally preserved at the same time.
The spur gear motor used here has variable speed thanks to the PLC control meaning filling can be done at just the right speed.
In hygiene sectors, the F 560 eccentric worm-drive pump must be cleaned frequently. For this reason, FLUX handle screws are used which make it possible to remove the motor quickly without tools and thorough cleaning can be done with minimal effort.
